Error while starting DB2 admin server

Hi,


I have installed DB2 V8 with fixpack 7 in AIX 5 . After installing while trying to start DB2 admin server ,I am getting this error......SQL1092N "dasusr1" does not have the authority to perform the requested command.

Then I have applied fixpack 14. When I try to update the das I am getting

SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred

Anyone can help me out for this issue....

Run the update command see if it helps. If it is installed as default, under:
/usr/opt/db2_08_01/instance

My head is not with me today. You already said you tried to update.

Did you tried to drop and re-create db2admin ?. Did you look at the db2 setup log file ?
