Hi ,
I am running a REBIND statement for all packages after the REORG and RUNSTATS
I get the following DB2 error in Windows Event Viewer

"ADM0001C A severe error has occurred. Examine the administration notification
log and contact IBM Support if necessary."

How do I find out which package rebind has caused the problem?
How do I fix this error?

db2diag.log is very huge about 2GB , so I cant open it and view the error
is there any way to view this?

Thanks
Sree

rename the db2diag and then run the rebind again so that you can track the db2diag entries

hi Singh ji

I get the following error when running the REBIND

"SQL0901N The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe system error.
Subsequent SQL statements can be processed. (Reason "Sdir len bad:
1171!=1160+9".) SQLSTATE=58004"

SQLSTATE 58004: A system error (that does not necessarily preclude the
successful execution of subsequent SQL statements) occurred.

Also it puts a set of dump files along with the db2diag.log .
how do we view the contents of these files? When I open these in normal editor , i get only junk chars. is there any tool to view and understand the contents of these ?

Thanks
Sree

Those dump files are for sending to IBM Software Support after you open a
PMR.
