Hi all,

I would like to know the frequency to perform reorg, runstats and rebind,
or recommended frequency by IBM.

Thanks!!!!

Rebind when you apply a fixpack.

For reorg and runstats, have you considered automating them:

"Blair Kenneth Adamache" Rebind when you apply a fixpack.
If you have packages, such as would exist for a SQL SP, you will need to do
a rebind for the new statistics to take effect.

OTOH, if you have a good access plan, you don't ever "need" to do a runstats
or rebind.

There is no person named IBM, and there are lots of different IBM employees
with DB2 expertise who have varying opinions on this subject. If you do find
an "IBM recommendation" it is likely to be some simple rule of thumb for
novices that is designed to reduce calls to IBM support line, and which will
never be optimal for your specific application and database.
