Look! 2007 and IBM is still propagating REXX: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/aix/library/au-rexx.html

But DB2 is not mentioned (anymore). Right, SAA and OS/2 are collecting dust in history. But how about REXX? In old manuals (V7 and older) I see REXX as possibitlity to code stored-procedures. As of V8 java is propagated on all platforms and on Z/OS cobol is still supported.

What's the statigy of IBM conserning DB2/REXX? I could do with some clarification.

REXX is still supported with DB2:

We have not made any REXX enhancements since DB2 v7.
